Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Mohd Rizwan, trading as KR Unified ("KR Unified", "we", "us") collects and uses your personal data. It covers the website https://www.krunified.com and our four business divisions: KR Solar, KR Software & Automation, KR AI Skill Development & Services and KR Skill Ready India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we are the Data Fiduciary for the data described here.

• To respond to your enquiry and give you quotes, proposals or program information.
• To deliver the services you buy: installation, software projects, training and coaching.
• To process payments, issue invoices and meet tax and legal obligations.
• To provide warranty, maintenance and customer support.
• To understand which pages and campaigns work so we can improve the website. We use aggregated data for this.
• To send updates or offers, only if you opted in. You can opt out at any time.

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form or contact us, and for legitimate uses permitted under Section 7 of the DPDP Act, such as completing a service you asked for or meeting a legal obligation.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers (Data Processors) who work for us under contract, such as Google Workspace (email, storage and forms), WhatsApp Business (Meta), our payment gateway (Razorpay), web hosting (Hostinger), cookieless website analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) and accounting software.
• Government bodies and DISCOMs where needed for a service you asked for, e.g. net-metering and subsidy processes.
• Professional partners such as Chartered Accountants or Company Secretaries, only with your approval, for registrations you ask us to arrange.
• Authorities when required by law or court order.

Our website is hosted on Hostinger servers in India; Hostinger keeps the website's backup copies in Singapore. Some processors may store data on servers outside India. We use providers with recognised security standards, and we will follow any restrictions the Government of India notifies on cross-border transfers.

4. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't become customers: up to 12 months after last contact, then deleted.
• Support requests: up to 12 months after we answer, then deleted. Unpublished reviews: up to 12 months. Published reviews: until you ask us to remove them.
• Consent records: as long as we keep the data they relate to, so we can show what you agreed to.
• Customer and project records: for the service and warranty period, plus the period required by tax and accounting laws (generally up to 8 years).
• Training records and certificates: up to 3 years to allow certificate verification.

5. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
• Correct, complete or update inaccurate data;
• Erase data that is no longer needed, unless we must keep it by law;
• Withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal doesn't affect processing already done;
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
• Grievance redressal through our Grievance Officer. If you're not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these rights, email krunified2026@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity first.

6. Children

Some of our programs are for students. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian. We do not track or target advertising at children. If you believe a child has sent us data without consent, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Cookies & analytics

This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. We do not currently use any third-party analytics. If we add privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics), it will only count visits in aggregate. We keep campaign tags (UTM parameters) in your browser's session storage for that visit only, so we know which advert or link brought you. If we add cookie-based tools in future, such as advertising pixels, we will ask for your consent first.

8. Our tools & Google user data

Our tools, RFQ Copilot (a Gmail add-on), the Bulk Certificate Generator and Gmail Mail Merge, are Google Apps Script add-ons. When you use one, Google asks you to grant the permissions listed on that tool's page.

• We use Google user data only to provide the tool's features you use, as described on the tool's page.
• We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
• Humans do not read your data unless you ask for support and give us permission, it's needed for security, or the law requires it.
• Your files and the data the tools produce stay in your own Google account (for example, your comparison or recipient sheets). We do not receive a copy.
• Small usage records needed to run a tool, such as RFQ Copilot's free-extraction count and subscription status, are kept in Google's per-user add-on storage linked to your account, not on our servers.
• Anonymous performance logs (processing time, number of attachments; never names, subjects, prices or file contents) are kept in Google Cloud Logging for up to 30 days to fix problems.
• You can revoke access anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

RFQ Copilot

• Works only on the email you open in Gmail: it reads that email and its PDF (including scanned) and spreadsheet attachments to extract quotation details. It cannot read the rest of your inbox.
• Scanned PDFs and spreadsheets are converted with Google Drive's own OCR and conversion, using temporary files in your Drive that are deleted after processing. No outside AI or OCR service is used.
• Extracted data is saved in the "RFQ Copilot - Comparison" Google Sheet in your account.
• For RFQ Copilot Pro, payments are handled by Razorpay. The add-on sends Razorpay only a random identifier and the product name; Razorpay collects your payment and contact details on its own secure page under its privacy policy. We receive the subscription status and the payment details Razorpay shares with merchants (such as your email and amount paid), never your card or UPI credentials.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

9. Security

We use reasonable security measures, including HTTPS encryption, access controls, two-factor authentication on business accounts and least-privilege access for staff. If there is a personal data breach, we will notify affected persons and the Data Protection Board as required by law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. We will notify you of significant changes where appropriate.
